THE LETTER

Dear Jessica, I’m not sure if my concept of a letter will work for this Kairos thing (whatever that is—I was a bad Catholic child, so most of these catholic things baffle me…anyhooo…); therefore, I am writing my sentiments in text just in case QR thingy doesn’t work.  I think you know I adore you and always have from the day you were born.  Just like you are now, as a small child, you were a little edgy (in the best possible way), funny (in the best possible way), and never suffered fools (in the best possible way—e.g. Hannah).  Best of all, you can smell an idiot a mile away: a very important quality in this “Age of Idiots.”  I always love listening to you describe some of the stupid things other people do and say.  I also think you’re smart, tough, and fun to be around—all things I cherish in a friend.  I know I don’t see you as much as I use to when you were younger, but I think about you a great deal, and I’ll miss you terribly and probably cry when you go away to college.  In the meantime, HAPPY KAIROS! I think? Love, Uncle John.
